Get to Know Dr. Anthony Garza
Dr. Anthony Garza has been a caring dentist to the local communities for over 30 years, and he loves going to work knowing that he and his team will be improving someone’s life. This could involve getting them out of pain, restoring their health, or giving them a more beautiful and confident smile. Multiple generations of local families have relied on Dr. Garza over the decades, and he can’t wait for you to become a part of our dental practice.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
As a teenager, Dr. Garza had large spaces between his front teeth. After meeting a girl he liked, he went home and told his parents that he needed to get his smile fixed ASAP! Fortunately, his parents took him to the dentist, and he really changed Dr. Garza’s life. He became much more confident and ended up asking the girl out, who is now his wife, Elizabeth! Starting at 16 years old, he knew he wanted to become a dentist and help people change their lives for the better, too.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Garza graduated from the University of Texas at Austin before going on to earn his dental degree at the University of Texas at Houston. Since then, he has taken countless continuing education hours specializing in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

- Nueces Valley District Dental Society
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Garza and Elizabeth have three wonderful children, including our own Dr. Ashley! They currently have five grandchildren with more on the way and enjoy spending lots of time at family gatherings and traveling together. Away from the office, Dr. Garza likes to ski, play tennis, golf, hunt, watch movies, and try different restaurants.
